Pressure-Controlled | Pressure-Support | High-Flow Therapy

The HOFFRICHTER LAVI is used for intermittent, pressure-controlled and pressure-supported ventilation.
It is intended for both invasive and non-invasive respiratory ventilation.
The device is suitable for children and adults with a tidal volume of 100 ml or more, and can be used in a  clinical as well as a home environment.
In non-invasive ventilation it is possible to use a standard vented mask or a clinical (non-vented) mask combined with an exhalation valve.
The HOFFRICHTER LAVI 45 can be used on adults with the integrated HFT mode, which is a gentle high-flow therapy capable of a flow of 20 to 60 l/min and an oxygen feed of up to 15 l/min oxygen.
In combination with an external respiratory gas humidifier, it supports a better clearance volume ventilation and secretolysis thus allowing optimal oxygenation of the patient to be possible.

HOFFRICHTER LAVI was developed in Germany by highly qualified engineers from HOFFRICHTER, who took into account the latest research. The ventilator is assembled in compliance with the strictest quality standards – also on-site in Germany.

 

More than Whisper-Quiet

HOFFRICHTER Silence Technology (HST) stands for whisper-quiet operation of the high-performance turbine even at maximum flow. This ensures that a non-disruptive therapy is possible even at night. Precise flow and pressure triggers react to the patient needs in the shortest possible time, enabling the best possible adaptation and fast synchronization.

 

Light and Compact

The design of the HOFFRICHTER LAVI is not only elegant, but also extremely compact with a weight of only 2.2 kg. The optionally available functional bag enables problem-free attachment to a wheelchair and protects the device from the effects of weather and vibrations during operation.

 

Real-Time Monitoring

The most relevant measured-values are displayed in each menu level. The monitoring screen can also be used to individually select which measured-values are displayed at which position.

 

Simple and Intelligent Handling

HOFFRICHTER LAVI is characterized by simple and intelligent handling. The desired function can be called up effortlessly, due to the flat menu structure. You can navigate within the menus using the multifunction button and the three soft keys. The menu structure is identical to that of the HOFFRICHTER CARAT pro and HOFFRICHTER TREND III which minimizes training for users who are already familiar with HOFFRICHTER devices.

 

Ventilation Modes

In addition to the well-established ventilation types PCV / APCV / PSV / PSV-S / P-SIMV and CPAP, the HOFFRICHTER LAVI 45 has an integrated HFT mode for high-flow therapy with a flow of 20 to 60 l/min and an oxygen feed of up to 15 l/min of oxygen is possible.

 

Interfaces

By heating and humidifying the breathing air with an external humidifier and various interfaces, the HOFFRICHTER LAVI 45 is a valuable companion in high-flow therapy for various respiratory diseases. In the non-invasive mode, the use of ventilation masks equipped with or without an exhalation valve is possible.
